County Clerk / Election Authority

Duties
  • Auctioneers license renewals
  • Bid openings: Receive bids-file copies of bids and notices
  • Board of Equalization: Schedule appointments for the Board of Equalization.
  • Certification and apportionment of revenue for railroad and utility companies
  • Certification of local real and personal revenues chargeable to the collector
  • Certification of value and rates of all political subdivisions
  • Conduct all elections held in the county
  • Custodian of records such as contracts with the county and all minutes of the county commission and files relating to the commission

  • Handle county insurance and accounts payable
  • June 30th Liquor license renewals
  • Keeper of the minutes and decisions of the board
  • Licenses-Issue county liquor and auctioneer licenses
  • Notary Publics: swear in notaries and certify to State
  • Responsible for employee benefits, payroll and personnel records
  • Responsible for voter registration
  • Serve as the County Budget and Financial Officer
Fees
      ATV/UTV Permits - $15
  • Notary - $3

 - February 17, 2016 - Last day to register to vote in March 15, 2016 Election
 -March 9, 2016  - Last day to register to vote in April 5, 2016 Election                              
 -July 6, 2016 - Last day to register to vote in August 2, 2016 Election          
 -October 12, 2016 - Last day to register to vote in November 8, 2016 Election
